About us
What happens when a former tattoo artist opens a studio for hand-dyed yarn during the pandemic? PRU YARNS aka PunkRock Unicorn!
Founded four years ago during the pandemic, we've been on a mission ever since to inspire more and more people every day to craft with hand-dyed wool.
In our workshop in the Eifel region of western Germany, we pour our hearts into dyeing a wide variety of yarns. They are the embodiment of the rainbow, inviting you to create a masterpiece with the most beautiful fibers.
The hand-dying process ensures that each skein is unique – just like the knitted and crocheted pieces customers from around the world create with them, which they proudly wear and pass down through generations.
We take animal welfare seriously and only use responsibly sourced, mulesing-free yarns to ensure that you can knit your projects ethically.
